Scale: This is just a little undersize, but not by much. It's about 1/27.5 scale, which wouldn't be very noticeable (if at all) on a boat, since we don't really know how the real boat compares to a car anyway.
Year of Release: 2016
Information: This boat was originally issued by Palmer in the early '60s, and the tool was later sold to Lindberg. It's one of Palmer's better kits and builds into a nice looking boat, although it is 55 year old tooling and not as detailed as a contemporary AMT kit. Engine choices on the real boat include a 225 cu Fireball, two 250 ci Fireballs at 135 and 170 HP, a then-new 352 ci 240 HP Interceptor, a Chrysler 275 HP Imperial Hemi and a then-new even more impressive Crusader rated at a big 325 HP.
