Several years ago Hasegawa introduced a series of five American 1965 and 1966 cars, all copied from previously issued AMT, MPC and Jo-Han kits.
(The boxes say that they’re 1/24 scale, but they are in fact 1/25, the same as the kits they were cloned from).
The bodies and chrome are nearly identical to the original kits, but they don’t have opening hoods or engines, and they use a generic interior and wheels and tires.
They’re very nice cars.
This 1/25 scale 1965 Chevy Impala was copied from the AMT ’65 Chevy Impala kit.
The box says 1966, but of course, the Chevy is actually a 1965.
