MPC originally issued this kit in 1963 as the Bill Cushenbery-built Car Craft Dream Rod,
marketed as an AMT kit in an AMT box.
When the real car was rebuilt into the Tiger Shark in 1966,
MPC followed suit and altered the Car Craft Dream Rod tooling into the Tiger Shark as well.
