Just six Bugatti Type 41 Royales (and one prototype that was later wrecked) were built, all between 1927 and 1933. Each had a unique custom-built body, making each one different. This kit represents chassis number 41.150, the 6th (and last) Royale built, and it remained unsold until 1950. It has spent time in the Harrah collection and was later owned by Tom Monaghan, automobile aficionado and founder of Domino’s Pizza. It then went into the Blackhawk collection in Danville California until it was recently purchased by a private collector and was returned to Europe.
