This is a reincarnation of the Monogram “Blue Beetle” 1929 Ford Pickup issued in 1964 and never reissued.
The unique tooling for the “Blue Beetle” was altered early on, but after all these years Revell/Monogram
has retooled the missing parts, so after 50+ years the “Blue Beetle” is once again available.
The name has been changed because Mattel Hot Wheels now owns the name,
hence the new “Blue Bandito” moniker, but the kit once again comes with all the original “Blue Beetle” features.
