The last two owners of the AMT and MPC tooling both wanted to reissue this kit but found that permanent changes
had been made to the tool to be able to make the reissued ’74 Road Runner and the ’78 Dodge Joker Goon and
Dukes of Hazzard police cars, so this 1987 issue is probably the last issue we’ll ever see of this car.
It can be built completely stock, as a drag car or as a pseudo-Superbird.
